A modular visual asset library for an NFT character collection
We developed a modular visual asset library in the form of an NFT character collection for Peaq, a DePIN blockchain platform, called The Peaqonauts. Each character model was procedurally generated using Houdini, blending layered design systems with AI-assisted rendering workflows. For each character, we developed x15 backgrounds, x15 bodies, x15 heads, x15 power cores and x15 decal sets for x4 characters — resulting in 759,375 possible combinations per character and 3,037,500 total possible combinations between all 4.
The characters depicted humans in various future colony states between Earth, the moon, Mars and Europa, one of Jupiter’s largest moons. We wrapped a story around each character, along with a consistent visual language.
